I take Budds Lane out of Bordon and follow Oakhanger Road west into the village. It’s about 3 miles by road and around 5–10 minutes.

Oakhanger homes
Oakhanger is mostly cottages, farmhouses and houses along Oakhanger Road and the lanes off it. The pub, The Hanger (formerly the Red Lion), reopened in 2020 after restoration. Older country homes often have a few rooms carpeted and the rest on stone or wood, so a typical booking might be a lounge, stairs and a couple of bedrooms.
