Carpet Cleaning in Headley
Headley village is about a mile and a half east of Bordon on the B3002. It’s the old centre of a big parish that also takes in Arford, Standford, Sleaford and part of Hollywater. I cover all of it for carpet, sofa, rug and mattress cleaning.

Getting to Headley from Bordon
I come out of Bordon through Lindford and stay on the B3002, which runs into the centre of Headley by All Saints Church and the Holly Bush. It’s about 2.5 miles by road, under 10 minutes.

Headley homes
Headley has plenty of older property: period cottages and houses around the church and along the lanes, plus later family homes. Older houses often have narrow, winding staircases and fitted carpet laid over uneven floors. Stairs are a fixed £100, and I take my time on the edges and risers.
I also cover from this page:
- Headley village
- Arford
- Standford
- Sleaford
- Barford
- Hollywater (Headley side)
Around Headley
All Saints Church
The parish church in the village centre, rebuilt in 1859 after the spire burned down, with features going back to the 13th century.
Headley Grange
The former 1795 parish workhouse, later famous as the house where Led Zeppelin recorded their fourth album in 1971.
Headley Mill
A Grade II listed watermill on the River Wey with a four-acre millpond (private, not open to visitors).
What Headley carpets and sofas need
Stairs in older cottages
Tight turns and steep treads collect grit at the nosing, the front edge of each step. I clean stairs by hand-tool tread by tread, at a published price of £100.
Wet-lane mud
Footpaths down to the Wey and the commons get muddy from autumn to spring. Dried-in mud in a hall runner usually lifts well with pre-spray and extraction.
Prices for Headley
These are my published prices. Heavy staining or unusual items can vary, and I confirm a firm price before booking.

Headley questions
Do you cover Arford and Standford as well as Headley village?+
Yes. Arford, Standford, Sleaford and the Headley end of Hollywater are all in my area. Headley Down has its own page because it’s a separate village up the hill.
My cottage has a very narrow staircase. Is that a problem?+
No. Narrow and winding stairs are cleaned by hand-tool step by step. The published stairs price is £100, and I’ll tell you before I start if anything would change that.
