Carpet Cleaning in Selborne
Selborne is the village under the beech hanger that Gilbert White made famous. It’s about four miles west of Bordon as the crow flies, but further by road because of the lanes. I clean carpets, rugs, sofas and mattresses in Selborne village and the houses around it.

Getting to Selborne from Bordon
There’s no direct road, so I go through Oakhanger and along the lanes to the B3006, which runs through the village. It’s about 7.5 miles by road and around 15–20 minutes.

Selborne homes
Much of Selborne is a conservation area: old cottages and houses along the main street, many with uneven floors, low beams and steep stairs. Period homes often have loose rugs and fitted carpet together, and some fabrics need a gentler approach. A WhatsApp photo of the rug or sofa label helps me plan.
